Designing the product |

Developing the idea |
Demonstrate orthographic drawing using the Visualiser. Students then work to produce a drawing of the design and the mould which will be used to make it. |

Planning the making |
Students produce a cutting list. Planning discussed then students produce a process sheet. |

Making the product. |
Use a template to transfer the design onto the MDF blanks. Cut out using a coping saw. Drill location holes. Assemble mould. Pour molten pewter into the mould. Remove and clean up. Polish. |
